Rakhi Essay | Raksha bandhan Essay - History | Rakhi Gifts | History

By Akbar Ali
Here historical know how of rakhi festival is explained. This can be taken as hints for writing very special essay on raksha bandhan.
Santoshi Ma:
Ganesh had two sons, Shubh and Labh. On Raksha Bandhan, Ganesh's sister visited and tied a rakhi on Ganesh's wrist. Feeling and his two wives, Raiddhi and Siddhi, for a sister. Finally, Ganesh conceded the demand, and Santoshi Ma (literally the Mother Goddess of Satisfaction) was created by divine flames that emerged from Riddhi and Siddhi.

Krishna and Draupadi:
Another incident from the epic Mahabharat concerns Krishna and Draupadi. Draupadi was wife of the Pandavas. She had once torn a strip of silk off her sari and tied it around Krishna's wrist to staunch the bleeding from a battlefield wound.  Krishna was touched by her action and declared her to be his sister. Even they were unrelated. Krishna promised to repay the debt and then spent the next 25 years doing just that. Draupadi, in spite of being married to five great warriors and being a daughter of a powerful monarch, trusted and depended wholly on Krishna. Krishna repaid the debt of love during the "Cheer-Haran" (literally "clothing-removing") of Draupadi, which occurred in the assembly of King Dhritarashtra when Yudhisthira lost her to the Kauravas in gambling. At that time, Krishna indefinitely extended her saree through divine intervention, so it could not be removed, to save her honor. This is how he honored his rakhi vow toward Draupadi.

King Bali and Goddess Laxmi:
According to a legend the Demon King Bali was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu had taken up the task to guard his kingdom leaving his own dwelling-place in Vaikunth. Goddess Lakshmi wished to be with her lord back in her dwelling-place. She went to Bali disguised as a woman to seek refuge till her husband came back.
During the Shravan Purnima celebrations, Lakshmi tied the sacred thread to the King. Upon being asked, she revealed who she was and why she was there. The king was touched by her goodwill for his family and her purpose and requested the Lord to accompany her. He sacrificed all he had for the Lord and his devoted wife.
It is said that since then it has been a tradition to invite sisters in Shravan Purnima for the thread tying ceremony or the Raksha Bandhan.

Rani Karnavati and Emperor Humayun:
A popular narrative that is centered around Rakhi is that of Rani Karnavati of Chittor and Mughal Emperor Humayun. When Rani Karnavati, the widowed queen of the king of Chittor, realised that she could not defend against the invasion by the Sultan of Gujarat, Bahadur Shah, she sent a Rakhi to Emperor Humayun. Touched, the Emperor immediately set off with his troops to defend Chittor.Humayun arrived too late, and Bahadur Shah managed to sack the Rani's fortress. When Humayun reached Chittor, he evicted Bahadur Shah from fort and restored the kingdom to Karnavati's son, Vikramjit Singh.

Alexander the Great and King Puru:
According to one legendary narrative, when Alexander the Great invaded India in 326 BC, Roxana (alexander's wife) sent a sacred thread to Porus, asking him not to harm her husband in battle. In accordance with tradition, Porus,  gave full respect to the rakhi. On the battlefield, when Porus was about to deliver a final blow to Alexander, he saw the rakhi on his own wrist and restrained himself from attacking Alexander personally.

298 Words Essay onTime management Strategies andTechniques

Time management strategies are the unique quality of high performing people who apply time management techniques in their own style. This "style" word is told here because of various strategies adopted by the most successful  men on this globe.
Get Organized - To craft an effective life, begin each day working on whatever makes you the most anxious. Once you've confronted the most difficult work, subsequent activities will seem easy. Work on paper what to do first.
Protect Your Time - Protect the valuable times. Discard which is not in the priority list.  Plan your time. Reserve regular weekly periods for assessing both short- and long-term goals. Schedule time each day to work on your top priorities.
Set gravitational goals - Most of us are mentally  best in the morning but have less performed at the end of the day. Remain focused on the highly set priority that attract actions automatically.
Achieve through Goal management Goal Focus - motivational emphasis
Work in Priority Order - Use your long term goals to create concrete, short-range actions that will take you in the direction you wish. Rank those steps so that you can work on the most important items first.Set goals and prioritize them.
Use Magical Tools to Get More Out of Your Time - Keep all your appointments, "to do" lists, and work plans in one location. Get a datebook, or a personal digital assistant, and use it without exception. Some of us keep multiple calendars - one for family plans, one for work, etc.,. When multiple systems are used, conflicting dates may be made and other appointments missed completely.

Master the Skills of Time Management
Go with the Flow - natural rhythms, Eastern philosophy
Recover from Bad Time Habits - recovery from underlying psychological problems, e.g. procrastination

Mantras, the integral part of Durga puja are accompanied by the rhythmic beatings of the dhak, smell of the incense sticks, 'dhoono' and flowers. These create the atmosphere of Durga puja. Chanting of mantras in Sanskrit is essential part of the Durga Puja Festival. This is a part of Durga Puja's Pushpanjali Mantra:

Earthquake Essay | An Essay on Earthquake | Earthquakes | Earthquake

The recent earthquake In India on September 18 , 2011 compelled me to write an essay about earthquake. In this essay many things related to earthquake will be discussed.

Definition:
An earthquake is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust that creates seismic waves. The seismicity or seismic activity of an area refers to the frequency, type and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time.

Measurement:
Earthquakes are measured with the help of  seismometers. The moment magnitude is the most common scale on which earthquakes larger than approximately 5 are reported for the entire globe. The more numerous earthquakes smaller than magnitude 5 reported by national seismological observatories are measured mostly on the local magnitude scale, also referred to as the Richter scale.

Magnitude of concern:
Magnitude of 3 or lower earthquakes are mostly almost imperceptible and magnitude 7 and over potentially cause serious damage over large areas. The largest earthquakes in historic times have been of magnitude slightly over 9. But  there is no limit to the possible magnitude. The most recent large earthquake of magnitude 9.0 or larger was a 9.0 magnitude earthquake in Japan in March 2011. It was the largest Japanese earthquake since records began. Intensity of shaking is measured on the modified Mercalli scale.

Cause:
Earthquakes are caused mostly by rupture of geological faults. It is  also cause by other events such as volcanic activity, landslides, mine blasts, and nuclear tests. An earthquake's point of initial rupture is called its focus or hypocenter. The epicenter is the point at ground level directly above the hypocenter.

Essay on Internet Banking | Internet Banking in India | e-Banking | Online

Introduction:
What can be done by online banking:
System needed for internet banking (My recommendation as per my experience):
SECURITy DETAIL :
Password:

Introduction

There are many things to know about the Internet banking system, especially if you are just now wanting to get involved with online internet banking system.
One of the main reasons that people decide to begin using Internet banking over regular banking is in reference to convenience. Everybody wants methods that are going to save them time and make daily tasks easier on them, and that is exactly what Internet banking does.

Internet banking was introduced in the early 80s. Many people have started availing to its facilities. Now, one does not have to wait in long queues at the bank nor to pay bills at some shopping center and Non of us want to stand in the queue for hours and hours also.
You can notify the bank of your change of address directly over the computer . Many other services that you would typically have to pay for are free as well when you complete them online with Internet banking, and this is primarily due to the fact that by completing Internet banking services you are saving the bank from having to use bank tellers, or manpower, to do the work for you.
The best thing about Internet banking is that it is fast and is available to a person in any part of the world, at anytime he or she needs it.
I have written this article only because to share my Internet Banking experience with all new users. Almost I have used maximum internet money related activities and sensed much more comfort. From money transfer to money deposit through ATM (available in few banks in Durgapur), I realized that it has become necessary to tell all in and outs of the internet banking facts. For last five year I never stood at teller window of any bank or any financial institution except extreme face-to-face requirement of the bank.

What can be done by online banking:

  1. Money transfer from one account to another account of same bank.
  2. Money transfer from one account of a bank to another account of other bank. This is also known as NEFT OR RTGS .

[**NEFT - The acronym “NEFT” stands for National Electronic Funds Transfer. Funds are transferred to the credit account with the other participating Bank using RBI's NEFT service. RBI acts as the service provider and transfers the credit to the other bank's account.

RTGS –The acronym “RTGS” stands for Real Time Gross Settlement. The RTGS system facilitates transfer of funds from accounts in one bank to another on a “real time” and on “gross settlement” basis. The RTGS system is the fastest possible inter bank money transfer facility available through secure banking channels in India. ]
  1. Rail ticket booking on www.irctc.co.in
  2. Equity (Share), mutual fund, and IPO purchasing.
  3. Hotel booking.
  4. Online PPF deposit electronically if the PPF account is in the same branch.
  5. Fixed Deposit , Recurring  deposit, Term Deposit, Demand Draft making can be controlled with your finger tips round the clock.
  6. Account statement checking round the clock.
  7. Mobile recharging. Prepaid or Postpaid.
  8.  Insurance premium payment.
  9.  Status of the insurance  can be viewed any time round the clock.
  10.  Electronic product like music , ebooks etc can be bought .
  11.  NSTSE (National Science Talent Search Examination ) form filling and its payment  can be done in a minute.
  12.  Job form filling and its payment if any.
  13.  Tax payment.
  14.  News  paper advertising payment.
And many more services can be availed. I can’t mentioned all . I have mentioned the above point only because we generally need these types of services.

System needed for internet banking (My recommendation as per my experience):
  1. A computer.
  2. Internet connectivity.
  3. Original Operating System.( e.g. XP PROFESIONAL ).
  4. Original Antivirus, Not a free version.

SECURITy  DETAIL :
Before going ahead I want to clear one thing that Indian banks are paying biggest priority on the security issue. The security issue is equally matters for the customer and the bank. I feel they are doing extraordinary innovation to give better and better service to the customer.
I feel , It is the only gift of electronic banking which had boosted Indian economy at faster rate than any other economy in the world. It is because of the acceptance and great know how of electronic media of Indian educated person.

Password:
  • Tell no one your password or other confidential information unless you are sure of their identity. Hackers sometimes impersonate technical support workers or others over the phone to obtain private information
  • Keep your password out of plain sight in your work area.It is better to maintain password in a diary.
  • I use Keepass (https://keepass.info/) software a freeware to control my all passwords with a master passwords.
  • Select a password that is hard to guess; avoid social security numbers, birth dates, PINs, or other obvious choices.
  • Never use your banking in cyber caf├й, unless you know the machine physically and electronically.
  • Don’t allow all to use your computer. Make your computer personal if you use internet banking.
  • When your computer prompt to save password. Never give “yes” option. Always opt for “NO” or “NEVER”.
  • Make sure your browser supports secure transactions using up-to-date security features like encryption.
  • Take advantage of security and virus protection software that protects your computer from intrusion. (Intrution means act of coming uninvited or unwanted.)
  • When you walk away from your PC, turn it off, or turn on the screensaver password feature.
Good passwords are unique. Try using capitalization, non-letter characters, and other symbols with significance only to you. Instead of "carrot," for example, use "caRrOt8." Also, be sure to change your password periodically. Another example G?|1k<&L3/0(f .This password will be rated as Strong.
Use all security measures provided by your bank. Banks in India are providing various security and security measure is their top priority. Almost all the banks in India providing world’s most security feature of 128 bit encryption and SSL. If you don’t know about  the security features available in your bank then ask your bank managers about all security steps.
FOR BeGINnERS  MY RECCOMENDATION:

For learning Internet Banking, open an account with internet feature enabled. Keep minimum required fund for which amount you are scaling your risk at safe level. As the saving deposit amount is minimum therefore your risk is also minimum. This is only for reducing  mental fear of beginners. Actually nothing is of fear but I am mentioning these things only to achieve experience  with mental comfort. Now you can feel relax because your main bank account is safe. Suppose you want to transfer fund to your relative/ son / or others who is at another place ( far from you) you can drop one cheque  to your internet enabled bank and transfer the fund.By doing this you will acquire more experience and at one day you can keep bigger amount in your a/c and will become proficient with online system.

How to become a Writer Essay | writers | creative writing | Writing Skills

How to become master of essay writing? What to  write first and how to start essay? These questions are very commonly felt by everybody while going for essay writing. But if you have got started any how then writing become very simple and easy. Creative writing may have error of grammar but message of contents gets larger respect. First a writer's duty is to start writing good creative contents. Then improve your grammatical errors. A good writer is a a very good observer. So it is very important to observe a subject and its depth. And then try to express in your own way.

I think it should be named starting trouble of an inexperienced writer. Or you can say that engine of writing is not getting started. So in common sense it can be explained as lack of initiation.
So mind it . It is of utmost important to initiate. Why many could not initiate. It is because he never put his mind to think.
If he thinks well then he lacks of word power and grammar.
If he also fulfill this then i say he has not an energetic one and lacks enthusiasm. If he yet has this quality then i say he has no purpose of becoming a good writer and he is a lazy man. That's it.
I think what logic I have given here  is correct .
7 check points for a writer.

1. choose subject of the article as per demand of the interest or as per demand of the publishers.
2.Read all available resources about the subject like bookstores, newspapers, libraries and internet sources. These will give you an idea of the subject.3. Authenticate your article's subject matter for its releability by reading  various sources.
4.Decorate your writing.
5. Check whether it is attractive or not.
6. Check grammar and spelling.
7. Arrange its contents if needed for its outcome of the story or message.

Train Accident Essay In India Recent for class 5

Train accident has become a common phenomena in recent time in India. The 2010 and 2011 was very bad. The Kalka mail accident is unbelievable. It impacted our mind dangerously. It has not been many days one another accident resulted in Southern India. Before writing this essay I want to pay a humble homage to those unfortunate victims who lost their lives in these accidents. Let start to write an informative essay about the recent accident.

The mishap occurred when  Chennai-Vellore Cantonment Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit (MEMU) rammed into the rear of the Arakkonam-Katpadi passenger which was waiting for signal at the Chitheri station, at about 9.40 PM on September 13 , 2011 .

This accident has disclosed one thing that  all these accidents have to be studied like a case studies. This will provide the probable cause of the accidents. Human error has to be analised carefully in depth for enhancing railway safety and to protect future mishap .The train accident in India is not an event , but has turned into a disaster. And the big question is that we are completely unprepared to mitigate these disasters.

In this accident about 8 people identified. This is the fourth serious rail accident in India since July. Last month, at least three people were killed and 200 injured in a train collision in West Bengal. In July, at least 69 people were killed and almost 250 injured when a passenger train derailed in Uttar Pradesh.

Accidents are common on the  Indian railways which connects immense network every corner of the country. It operates 9,000 passenger trains and carries some 18 million passengers every day.All time we say Indian Railway is our pride. But the people now raising finger on safety sytem of Indian Railway. If we have to feel a pride with Indian Railway we have to become extra managed more active , ethical honest to put safety on high scale. We can not compromise safety with anything else.

As these accidents put a question in the mind of Indian people about the most popular and more disussed safety system of avoiding train accidents. Now we are aquanted with the news of Anti Collision Device (ACD). Now many of us want to know about this. I think it is to be explained here.
The ACD Network is a Train Collision prevention system patented by Konkan Railway Corporation Limited. It is a Public Sector Undertaking of Ministry of Railways, Government of India.ACDs have knowledge embedded intelligence.

They take inputs from GPS satellite system for position updates and network among themselves. They exchange nformation using their data radio modems to take decisions for timely auto-application of brakes to prevent dangerous 'collisions', thus forming a 'Raksha KavachTM' (meaning a '(Train) Safety shield').ACDs are fitted at both in Locomotive and Guard's Van of a train. It acts as a watchdog in the dark as they constantly remain in lookout for other train bound ACDs, within the braking distance required for their relative speeds. They communicate through their radios and identify each other. If they happen to find themselves on the same track and coming closer to each other, they automatically restrain and stop each other, thereby preventing dangerous head-on and rear-end collisions.Loco ACD of a train also applies brakes to reduce the train speed either to 15 km/h if on approach it receives a message from other train bound ACD that has stopped in a block section on adjacent track. Thus side collision can also be checked.
ACD trials have recently been concluded successfully in Southern Railway. Further implementation on Indian Railway is awaited.
