Essay on "Should Woman work?"

Over the centuries, we have witnessed a new thinking where men and women stood equal shoulder to shoulder.

But since time immemorial, we have seen that man and woman have equal roles but in different genres.Women have the role of taking care of the house and men have the role of earning the bread. Each role is important in its own way.

Essay on Should Woman work?

Females are the only beings who witness the miracle of God, i.e., to give birth and that miracle in itself is greater than work.

Through the above statement, it can be justified that nothing is above than creating a place which can be called home. There have been many incidents and instances where earning bread was not a problem but making a place called home which is filled with laughter and joy was missing.Women's pious and perfect role is in igniting the fire of the hearth so that all the family members can come around and enjoy the family time.

Her role, which was already written in the ancient books, if firm and determined because it takes a lot of hard work, more than earning bread, to fill up a house with laughter.

No doubt, women are left to her own choice as to what she wants to do but societies negative ideologies about creating differences is something to think about.

Women are the reason for the existence of our future generation. The notion of the thought "Why women should not work" is under the belief that women are already doing work which is greater above all, i.e., to create a home filled with warmth and love and also creating life.

As far as money is concerned, living on the bread earned by the spouse is not called dependency but a pure exchange where the man brings the bread and the women makes the hearth. The societal pressure and the societies way of thinking in a negative notion have brainwashed us which is not uncommon. The maturity lies in knowing our own worth and understanding why the roles were divided centuries ago.

This free-spirited thought should be taken into account because women should know their own value and their own work and should not let other's idea of 'work' fall in their way.

Many families around the world break apart because similar roles are overwhelmingly influencing their lives which is not right. A balance should be maintained where women who are sensitive, can handle the children lovingly and she is also strong because she takes matters of the house in her own hands, whereas the man earns bread and takes care of other responsibilities

.

Thus, being keen and mindful of ourselves brings more joy than doing something which does not genuinely make us happy. This thought without limits is something which should be thought and pondered upon so that there is an equilibrium in the society, family and also within ourselves. Rather than being judgemental, it should be taken with positivity.

Essay on Foggy Weather

Foggy weather is just condensed water vapor close to the ground. To understand fog, we need to tackle humidity.

The surrounding air us can hold a certain amount of water vapor, or water in a gaseous state. Foggy weather consists of many problems. Ill health would come at the top of any list of the effects of foggy weather and smog followed by disruptions in transport services.

Essay on Foggy weather

Fog reduces visibility, obstructs sunlight, the dankness leads to depression. But when dust and toxic particles like those of carbon monoxide and sulphur oxide from industrial and vehicular emissions remain suspended in the air, their inhalation makes heart ailments and not only compounds respiratory diseases like asthma, but also causes a range of ear-nose-throat problems including congestion and wracking coughs during the foggy season. Sometimes patients are known to suffer permanent lung tissue damage and throwing flight schedules out of gear, poor visibility in foggy conditions has been disrupting train services, stranding passengers at platforms throughout the northern region. Foggy weather intensification in recent years especially in the South and South East Asian region. It is being attributed to increase in vehicular pollution, industrial emissions, aerosols, indiscriminate burning of biomass, forest fires and bovine emissions, with growing populations and increasing density. On a larger canvas, atmospheric pollutants are contributing to climate change, through disturbances in the regional hydrological cycle and global warming. Foggy weather is detrimental to agriculture, too. Fog ultimately handicaps economic growth. Man-hours lost to delays and poor health, commuting glitches and late arrival at work, fall in tourist traffic, and fall in agricultural production tend to have a cascading effect. Add to this loss of school and college hours. Smog management and mitigating its effects is serious business; it requires effective regulation, scientific solutions and public awareness to abate smog.

Essay on A time that you took a stand for someone or for an issue that you care about

Childhood is that time in your life when everything is perfect. In a human's circle of life, childhood is a stage of innocence.

A passage of time when nothing can go wrong. But that might not be the entire truth. Childhood is susceptible to multiple fragmented moments which can ruin a man's entire life. One such case is being bullied. Bullying links to the development of anxiety, depression and psychological disorder and affects adulthood in a tremendous way.

Any child can be a bully and any child can be a victim of it. The main chunk, in this case, is to make the children aware of what is right and wrong because in this age of innocence they can be moulded into a good or bad being, which affects their lives in an extreme way. Taking a stand against bullying can change a person's life in a personal and professional way. So I took a stand against bullying.

Essay on A time that you took a stand for someone or for an issue that you care about

One day, I saw a child being bullied and then decided to create an awareness regarding bullying. I stepped down to many schools with my team and held seminars and workshops on how to deal with bullying and how to stop it. Many students came out with their own personal experiences of bullying.

Therapy and counselling sessions were held and parents were also given a thorough counselling regarding the severity and causes of bullying.

Conducting a seldom seminar will not stop this issue, so weekly workshops and counselings were held which gave children hope. A minute detail in a child's life matters a lot and we as a responsible citizen should be mindful of creating a safe environment for our children.

Be aware, be safe.

I enjoyed the beautiful views which the forest transparently gave us. The running water in the stream beside the forest held the sweetest water that I ever tasted and its sound was so pleasing to my ears. The mushy grass was so soft that it felt like a cotton bed. I felt that I truly belonged in this jungle than the concrete jungle.

I found it so amusing that how people deter the woods. I feel that they should visit the woods more often because being in the forest makes us feel like home. I feel that forest is our natural home and we should stop destroying it.

Transform Yourself to Transform Society Essay

Be the change you wish to see in the world
- Mahatma Gandhi Transformation is the foundation on which a society grows.

It is a powerful tool which can change the society at large. A stagnant society cannot promise the well-being of its citizens, so it is really important to ensure that the society transforms for a better and prospective future. But the notion here is that we need to be the change we wish to see in the world because society is made of people. Transformation or change is not one person's idea, it is a collective idea which showcases transformational results.

Transform Yourself to Transform Society Essay

Nobody is born perfect but their dreams and vision make them perfect. It is highly necessary to make ourselves better not only for ourselves but for the society, which, one day, will be the home of the future generation. Many extraordinary people with their extraordinary visions, hard work and sacrifice have made a society which we live in today but nothing lasts forever, wolves come out of their den's when the storm passes away, so it is us who need to step into the shoes of those extraordinary people and pave our way in making a change..

Traits to change yourself which will result in the change of the society
1. Determination: It is the first step towards change and also with which an individual can stay progressive in his vision and mission.
2. Positive attitude: Change is not achieved easily, transforming yourself and the society might be a tricky task, so holding on to a positive outlook will give confidence in a larger aspect.
3. Hard work: It is said that life is not a bed of roses, hard work is inevitable in the world of success and it also makes you grow as a person.
4. Learning from mistakes: Nobody is born in a perfect way but a changed man is the one who learns from his mistakes. Because he has learnt from his past, he will be able to make a better decision and he will also be able to envision a better world.
5. Inspiration: History beholds names of those great men who sacrificed their lives for a better world, what we can do is to take inspiration from them and move forward on the path on which they began.

There are many more traits which can change a man but the core of all these traits is the willingness to change and to not to succumb to societal pressure. The road is not easy, but it's the road which should be taken the most.

Society is our hearth and we should be the furnace which will ignite the fire of resilience.

So let us join hands and make our society a better place where there is no war but peace, no hatred but love, no greed but share, no inequality but equality, no pollution but greenery, no racial discrimination but brotherhood. Let us create a society which makes people happy and does not include the mistakes of the past. A utopian world is the future of our society.

Essay on A Visit to a Zoo For Class 5

A zoo is probably a place where people visit hardly once or twice over their entire life.

But these one or two visits turn out to be the most experiential visits of life. Thankfully, I got the chance to visit a zoo at my teenage that too with my friends. Life seems beautiful when your friends are around. We were planning our visit for many days and finally one day it happened. We chose ‘Pragati Maidan’ Zoo, Delhi. We reached there at 10:00 AM, collected tickets from the ticket counter and then directly headed over to explore the zoo. Walking through the narrow lanes between the impenetrable trees, listing the pleasant chirping of birds, and witnessing the real animals was indeed a completely different experience. It seemed we have entered in a different world where there is no hub-bub and chaos of cities. I felt the tranquility of nature and love of animals there.

Essay on A Visit to a Zoo For Class 5

Before this visit, I had seen giant animals and big birds only in the pictures but in zoo, I witnessed almost every animal in front of my eyes. I can’t express this experience in words. It was really thrilling and amazing. I think animals are kept in a categorized way in a zoo. First, we went in the bird’s enclosure. There were many types of birds. Except for one or two categories, I was witnessing the all other types of birds for the time. Then, we approached to the rodent’s cage but didn’t spend much time here. We were curious to see the big animal, so we quickly headed over to the animal’s fence. In the midway itself, we heard a thunderous roar of a lion. Literally, we froze at our place for a moment then we remembered that lion is inside the cage. Ahh, we took a deep breath. Now, we were in front of the dangerous yet beautiful giant animals. We saw deer, lion, tiger, bear, wild bear, rhino, and many more. We enjoyed watching them. Their every single move scared us to the death every time. We were scared from inside but thrilled from outside. After this visit, I must one thing that animals know the definition of brotherhood better than humans. You will see there the genuine love.

Essay on 'Boredom with own Profession or Job'

During my work as a teacher , a close friend who left teaching asked me: How many years do you practice this profession?

I told him: maybe more than 16 years. He nodded his head and began to wonder, and then asked me another question: Did you feel tired of doing this work for this long period ?I replied: I did not feel bored during my work, on the contrary I enjoy my work well. He asked me: How does a person work long and not get bored? A good question and many people ask this question or similar questions in the same sense. I told him that I might have other hobbies, such as writing and reading, especially literature and writing for the press. This made my life varied, which did not make me feel bored with my practical life, especially as teaching is not a routine profession. With the tasks in this profession love and passion and do not consider it a duty imposed as a routine like many of the work that the staff feel bored after years. This depends on the person's personality and how he deals with the work he does. Every work can be boring and any work that can be interesting and boring if the person deals with it in a different way and does not make him compulsive and hateful. Many people have left jobs and important positions because they felt that they did not like the work they were doing. Perhaps the great writer known as Al-Jahiz left the work of the Abbasid Caliph Al-Ma'mun because he hated being associated with the Caliph. He preferred freedom and full time to writing, reading and mixing with the general public. Despite the good and the abundant money that he will earn from his work at the Caliph, but he did not want to be in the work of a lot of competition and envy and cadres of staff in the court of the Caliph, and left his work within days of practicing the work at the Caliph Al-Ma'mun. Many of the people I have met ask me how they deal with boredom in their work and perhaps in their lives in general.

Essay on Boredom with own Profession or Job

For work, I think that when a person does not like his work, he should move to a another job he loves. There is nothing worse than a person spending his life in a profession he does not like and doing something he does not like every day. This makes him short-tempered, quick-tempered, uninterested in his work and his productivity, and does not end the work of the people he has. But a question may arise immediately: How does a person change his job or profession and he barely found this job that is the source of his living and the living of his children? Yes, that is true, but that does not mean that one leaves his job that he does not like without planning it. He has to look for another job he loves, and if he finds it then he leaves the job he does not like. I know a lot people who did that.

Population Problem in India Essay For Class 10

Over-population is not just a problem in India but throughout the world. India has already crossed a population count of more than 1 billion.

Every minute more than 30 babies are born, and less than 10 deaths are registered. Being the second most populous country after China, it is believed that by 2050 it is going to surpass China in terms of population growth, given the birth rate every minute in India. In fact, there are several measures taken by the government to curb the growth of population- through TV Ads displaying the advantages of having a nuclear family, the kind of depression large families go through in managing their household, and through various programs educating the masses on the issue of population explosion.

Population Problem in India Essay For Class 10

Some of the causes of over-population are the birth rate being higher than the death rate although we have been able to successfully reduce the death rate by providing good medical treatment. But the measures we have taken so far have proved to be ineffective, and therefore we have not been able to control the birth rate. Other serious causes of population explosion are early marriage, illiteracy and poverty, and illegal migration of people from other countries.

For example, a carpenter thinks that the more kids he can give birth to, the more he can employ to make more money, and such kind of mentality due to lack of proper education is leading to population growth on an unprecedented rate.

As a consequence of it, the negative effects on the other areas of the economy are huge. Rising unemployment, shortage of resources, unequal distribution of wealth, infrastructural issues, and manpower utilization are some of the issues arising out of over-population in India, and worldwide. India produces about twelve lakh graduates every year but only 30% of them are able to get jobs. The matter of the truth is no economy in the world can employ so many people in a year. The quantum of agricultural produce is the same but the consumption is only increasing due to rising population; which is leading to inflation. Traffic congestion due to increase in motor purchases, and as a result of it leads to waste of time for people going for work. Another leading social issue is the early child marriages, and the longing for a son especially in rural areas.

The government of India in consultation with various private bodies including good policy makers, must formulate an effective policy to make ensure control of population through sex education, freely distributing contraceptives and condoms among the uneducated masses, increasing the welfare of women, tackling persistent social issues, encouraging women empowerment, among others. Apart from just formulating the policy, and implementing it, the government should also introduce an effective tool in order to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of policy on regular intervals.

Many experts are of their opinion that proper control of population can make India more prosperous and advanced in Science and Technology, Healthcare, Education, business and industry, and many other areas.

For accurate Data , please watch government of India websites or get resources from other sources also.

Lost Opportunities Never Returns Essay

When a person is alive and has his or her ability, movement and health, it is better to take advantage of the opportunity of life for a better future.

Success often requires patience and self-training on how to take advantage of lucrative opportunities. Life opportunities exist in all societies, but their identification is an art. An important and precious opportunity for someone does not have to be the same for the other. Catching an opportunity for limited profits is a boon to owners of limited income, while a loss for the rich, The loss or realization of the value of this opportunity or lack of importance is purely a talent possessed only by the minority.

Lost Opportunities Never Returns Essay

It is important that we put an end to the surprises, and limit the rush, as well as the end of ambitions and adventures so as not to fall in the end! Do not think that the opportunity comes twice and do not think that luck always smiles . Every person has multiple opportunities according to his or her interests, ambitions or even aspirations. Opportunities may be practical and scientific and all of which fall within the framework of achieving one's desire or goal. Those with intelligence and environmental awareness are able, through proper induction and in-depth insight, to develop them, and even invest in the best aspects, and avoid failures as much as possible. The Holy Quran has stressed on the importance of exploiting opportunities, saying: "{Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know!} [al-Hijr:3]," Hope hopes and ambitions change, and age goes and opportunity is lost.

If you think about the history of mankind, there are many , people and nations that have missed many opportunities because of their lack of initiative. Therefore adapting to circumstances or fluctuating with them requires time-consuming opportunities, like picking fruit from the branch of the tree, so as not to spoil after maturity. If the conditions do not fit a particular way of work, they may be compatible with another methods of them, with the stability of the goals and not losing them.

Nothing Lasts for Ever Essay

Life is a stage in which the individual lives with its joys and sorrows, but it is volatile and variable. It does not remain the same.

It changes from one condition to another, from joy to sorrow, from anger to calm, from pain to hope, from weakness to strength.

We may not be able to change some of them, but we can choose well. We have many opportunities in our lives if we choose well, However, not all of our choices should be successful, some are wrong but we learn from them. We must recognize the laws of the universe created by God Almighty, including the law of change, nothing lasts, everything has a stage of growth , recovery , maturity and end. We see that in humans, animals and plants.

Nothing Lasts for Ever Essay

When we realize the fact of the movement of things around us, we should understand that all situations in our lives as individuals, friends, loved ones, and people are not fixed .What is the most important is how we focus on the positive emotions that belong to us in a changing world. Even children live with us and then grow up and take their own lives to form new families. Some of us feel disappointed in these stages, but we still have the choice in our approach, thinking and feelings, especially when we have the awareness that we control our feelings and attitudes of all those changes. In dramatic situations with the death or loss of a person, or the migration to a place and moving to another, we must take into account several important points to help us overcome these.

Firstly, we have to admit these feelings to ourselves that we actually live and face them face to face, here we look at the problem gradually to reduce feelings and calm down, and eliminate the element of resistance that arises from the denial of feelings of pain.

Secondly, we have to respect ourselves by accepting all that has happened to us. We do not look at it with contempt or weakness or we feel a sense of revenge. We should respect our circumstances and accept them with satisfaction, that is, recognizing pain and then respecting and accepting it, and believing that it is a matter of time and we will overcome it.

Thirdly, we must be optimistic about life, and know that our lives are subject to several laws, including this change, with the belief that everything is a useful lesson from which we learn to be more conscious and mature, and there is a difference between looking at life negatively or positively!

These points come after realizing the reality of "choice", and that we are responsible first in the process of change or acceptance or feelings or movement and moving from one case to another or from one position to another. We must also realize that life is everything, and we can do the things we want as much as we can because Life is based on love, peace, justice, participation and support, and it is subject to strict laws, the law of change, movement and permanence, cause and effect.

I can say that my life was no less than a fairy tale for that single day because no one asked me to study or do my homework. My dad got me a princess crown which I always wanted and got few flowers to make it look more beautiful.

Mom took a lot of my pictures with my friends and said that I can always look back at the memories when I grow up. After my birthday party was over my parents gave me another surprise by taking me to my favorite ice-cream parlor after which we returned home and my mother narrated me a bed time story of a princess while I slept dreaming the whole day all over again.

Even though all my Saturday’s are nice but still there is something about the last Saturday that makes it more beautiful than all others Saturday’s till now.

‘A friend in need is a friend indeed’. Heard this quotation million times, right? But have you ever fathomed the meaning of this line?

Friends are Assets in our life Essay For Class 7

Of course, all the relationships are founded on the base of unyielding trust and love but at some point, they get decrepit with the passage of time. Call it a priority change or the rough condition of life but it happens with everybody. It’s only the true friends who always walk with you through the thick and thin, cry in your sorrow, rejoice your happiness, listen to you, read your soul, correct you, scold you but at the same time love you unconditionally, genuinely, and immeasurably. The entire world will laugh at your failure and be jealous of your success but it’s only a loyal friend who becomes even happier than you in your property and stands by you like a steadfast pillar in your distress. At the bleak hours of misery and sorrow, even your loved ones might desert you but a true friend will always be there to lend a shoulder to cry on whenever you need it.

Luckiest are those, who have such faithfulfriends. Believe me, buddy! You must have done some good deeds that’s why God has blessed you with the most beautiful gift of life. The memory of classrooms, friends, the bundle of homework and that canteen where you spent your every lunch-day bring a broad smile on your face for unknown reasons. Even after visiting the hundreds of restaurants, the heart is always connected with schools canteen. No canteen and no restaurant can match the level of enjoyment which we got in our school canteen.

My School Canteen Essay For Class 5

My school canteen was not really big and only children’s items were offered, yet that canteen holds the most special place in my heart even above than a five-star hotel. From the spicy foods to the sweets, cold drinks, lassi, chocolates, and pudding, every possible item for kids was available in my school canteen. As a kid, we thought that non-veg dishes are the most delicious dishes and once we even ordered in the canteen but we ended up getting a rebuke. Our school canteen didn’t offer non-veg foods considering the health factor of children. Being in a small area, it always looked crowded but was never suffocating because there were windows from all sides.Tables and chairs were set in a row with a sufficient space so that students could enjoy their meal. Even though I daily carried my lunch box along,I always had my meal at the canteen with my friends. I don’t know whether it was the relax-free life, the never-to-be-forgotten ambiance of canteen or the love of friends but as much I enjoyed the meal in my canteen, I couldn’t enjoy it anywhere till today.

Essay on One World One Family For Class 2

From the very beginning, we use to see various kinds of people around us. They belong to different religion and different cultures. They use to speak different kind of languages like Hindi, English, Urdu, Spanish, etc. and belong to different countries of the world. On the basis of these religions, cultures, countries, and languages people are divided into various categories such as Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Indian, American, etc. We have divided the whole world into small parts and give various names to it like India, Pakistan, America, Spain, Bangladesh, etc.

Essay on One World One Family For Class 2

Due to all these variations and divisions, problems will start to increase. People start fighting against each other in the name of religion. Countries start fighting against each other to capture other countries so that they could increase their boundaries. But they forgot that they himself have created all these variations and divisions. The God and nature have not made any distinction anywhere.

Do we ever think that why we people support these distinctions which had been made previously by some other people? God has created all the people equally with similar kind of abilities. Nature provides all its resources equally to the creature on this planet. We can also learn from the other animals and birds of the planet. They have not made any distinction among them. It is only human who has made all these distinctions among themselves.

So let us decide that we will never follow all these distinctions made by the people rather we will follow the lesson of quality given to us by the God and Nature. We will consider the whole world as one world and the whole humankind as one family. And in this way, we would be able to create the ultimate peace and harmony in the whole world.

Essay on A visit to a village for Class 6

320 Words essay on A visit to a village.

Once Gandhi Ji said, ‘The soul of India lives in its villages’ and this is true indeed. I was not aware of the importance and lifestyle of villages until my first visit to a village named ‘Dewari’ near Allahabad city.

I was born and raised in a city so visiting a village was something I always craved for. You won’t believe, but I can’t narrate my experience in words. It was just too wonderful and different. This experience can only be felt in the heart. Actually, I got this opportunity when my friend was going to visit his grandmother, who was living there and doing charity works. He asked me to join him. As I told you, visiting a village was somewhat like a dream for me, I quickly said yes to him.

Essay on A visit to a village for Class 6

As we get out of the car, a swarm of kids welcomed us. That day, their broadly smiling faces truly taught me what a real happiness means. After spending some time with them, we directly headed towards the charity house. As I was walking through the narrow lanes, I get lost in the serene ambiance of the village. There were no hustle and bustle of the city, no honking traffic jams, no rushing crowd, and no 9-5 hectic work lives. There everyone seemed relaxed and happy. People were sitting together and talking and laughing. I like this the most. In villages, people spend time with each other. That’s how a relationship gets stronger. Here people were neither arrogant nor they had an attitude of their style. Everyone was friendly and was talking pleasantly.

Time is less and words are even lesser to describe my experience of this 3 days village trip. The all I can say is these 3 days were the best days of my life. In these 3 days, I learned to squeeze out every drop of happiness out of even a little thing.

Essay on Goods and Services Tax (GST)

GST –
Goods & Services Tax, is a holistic indirect tax on the sale, consumption and manufacturing of goods and services in its entire product cycle i.e. from manufacturer to the consumer, throughout India.

GST, as an indirect tax for the whole country would make India a unified market by replacing taxes levied by the central & state government respectively, truly on the lines of ‘One Nation One Tax’. As a destination-based taxation system, it has been ratified by the 101st Constitutional Amendment Act. GST will be calculated only in the ‘value addition’ stage of a good or service. The end consumer will pay only their part of the tax and not the entire supply chain, which was the case earlier. A GST council has been provisioned - to be chaired by the Finance Minister of India – to decide upon any matter related to GST.

Essay on Goods and Services Tax (GST)

The GST Council is the first federal institution of India and will approve all decisions pertaining to taxation in India. It comprises all 29 states, Pondicherry, Delhi and the centre with the states having 2/3rd voting rights and the centre having the rest.

For GST, the highest tax slab is fixed at 40% with other slabs at 0%, 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%.

GST incorporates the following taxes earlier levied at the center and state level.

State Level:

• Entry Tax & Octroi
• Luxury Tax
• Purchase Tax
• Entertainment Tax
• Sales Tax
• Lottery/Betting/Gambling Tax
Center Level:

• Service Tax
• Countervailing Duty
• Special Additional Customs Duty
• Central Excise Duty
• Additional Excise Duty

GST is envisaged to bring in benefits to the Central & State Governments, consumer and the business class. These are as follows.

Central & State governments:

• Simple & Easy to administer
• Higher Revenue Efficiency
• Better control on leakage Consumer:
• Relief in overall tax burden
• Tax Democracy – Basic goods to be tax free & luxury items to be taxed more
• Single GST will help lower inflation Business Class:

• Increasing tax compliance leading to ease of doing business
• Enhanced investments & better decision making in a less uncertain tax environment
• Increased competitiveness due to reduction in transactional cost
• GST expected to raise GDP by 2% points GST implementation is based on the following principles:
• Centre to levy & collect Central GST
• For supply of goods & services within a state, states to levy & collect State GST
• Centre to levy the Integrated GST on the interstate supply of goods & services, and apportion state’s share of tax to the state where the good or service is consumed.
• Any revenue loss to the state owing to GST implementation will be compensated by the Parliament.

GST will be applicable across India w.e.f 1st July, 2017. There are some unresolved issues (taxation for certain items, confusion regarding the consumption location, multiple tax rates & brackets, decision criteria for the tax bracket etc.,) which will most probably be resolved by consensus within the GST council.

For more information watch government website here :https://www.gst.gov.in/
