Essay on My Favorite Occupation

A life without an aim is like a pilot without training and knowledge. Lack of aim often dupes an individual to a meaningless life.

Many people don’t sleep due to the fire burning in them to achieve a goal. For others, their aim becomes the sole reason for their survival. Everyone should have a crystal clear aim to end-up with a fruitful life.

The occupation that often anticipates and allures me is that of a doctor- an obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN). I wish to nourish my country by being its servant and ensure the birth of healthy citizens. Since my childhood, I love babies and the adverse palpability of women during pregnancy empathize me. I also possess a strong work ethic i.e. I don’t give up on the job until it’s done with 100% accuracy and precision. These skills make me apt for being a successful doctor. My compassion, humility and confidence add confetti to it. I believe in simple living and high thinking. All that matters to me is to be able to cure people rather than physical temptations like money and gold.

Essay on My Favorite Occupation

The epitome of a great doctor is Acharya Charak (300 BC) who's entitled as ‘the father of medicines’ because of his prolific qualities. His biggest contribution in the field of medical science is “Charak Samhita” which is considered as the encyclopedia of Ayurveda and the principles extended in the book retain their potency even today.

India demands quality. Also, I personally feel that it is the need of the hour that our nation has young dynamic physicians who can accelerate the growth of this industry. A doctor who has hands-on experience, knowledge, possess humility and social skills and is honest with his duty. I wish to become a great doctor and take the responsibility of the healthy growth of this nation.

I wish to provide a hygienic and healthy living to all the citizens of India, irrespective of their living standards. Under the umbrella of a vivid range of occupations, I landed up choosing medical science because it gives an exposure to help people directly and make them happy. Also, it’s a globally recognized field, ensures safe career and facilitates teamwork at every stage of practice.

I’m well aware of the fact that it’s not a cake walk to become a great doctor. But, I’ll develop and take-in all the skills, education and experience required to be a phenomenal doctor.

Essay on Quality Speaks Louder than Voice

Men are what they are because of what they do. Not what they said. If your actions do not prove the truth of your word then your words are nothing than lies.

Dreams become regrets when left in the mind, never planted in the soil of action. You can be another Pablo Picasso, a famous Spanish painter; Steve Jobs an American Entrepreneur, Bill Gates, an American business magnate, Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook; Martin Luther King Jr a leader in the civil rights movement; Rafael Nadal, a professional tennis player, Venus Williams, a professional women tennis player, Mahatma Gandhi leader of Indian National Movement, Sachin Tendulkar the greatest batsmen of all time. The list is endless and you may be the next. Yes, you will be the next one.

Could you see the common thing in all these people I mentioned? They all produce quality stuff in their fields. Their performances are now the benchmark of quality. They never market themselves. Still, the whole world knows about them. They focus on their interests. They believe in themselves. They were dedicated. Most important, they have persistence. In life, you will face challenges it is up to you to face it or run away from it.

So to produce quality in your work first thing you need is to be focused.

A man who chases two rabbit catches neither Yes, it is apt. You need to find your passions and keep yourselves focussed. The second thing in order to produce world-class quality service is to believe in you. Be honest about your goals. Rome was not built in a day

Similarly, excellence in your work cannot be achieved in a day. Science confirms that if you work for two hours daily for five years, then you will be master in your field. Your work will be of world-class quality. You will not need to market yourselves. You do not need to say aloud that you are good in this field. People will take you from the home. They will find you. Your name will be written in the golden letter in the history.

So find your passions. Work on it silently. Don’t tell everyone about it. Become focussed. Show your dedication and persist in hard times. A day will come when you will be automatically producing quality stuff. Your standard of work will be the benchmark of quality. As it is always said, Quality speaks louder than words.

Essay on Hard Work is more Important than Smart Work

The importance of work is profound in every field. Be it intrinsic or extrinsic, work cannot be substituted with anything else.

The earlier generation had followed the simple method of sheer hard work but in the present times, a new method of work was adopted where smart work was being utilized more often and it slowly replaced the hard work. Through smart work, the results were achieved quickly. But the real question is that can smart work replace hard work?

Essay on Hard Work is more Important than Smart Work

Through smart work, results can be achieved but only to the point when it is direly needed, on the other hand, hard work gives one a long time result. Hard work is more important than smart work because through hard work there will be persistence and determination. There can be a better end product because of hard work. Starting with hard work is the basic and best option and it is the basic ingredient to achieve success.

To reach your fullest potential, hard work is the only way and why not?. As Henry Ford says "The harder you work, the luckier you get"- the more successful you get. To reach the peak of the ladder, intense hard work with great skills will not only reap rewards but will also make you the person you wanted to be. To exemplify the importance of hard work, Thomas Edison can be taken up because as we all know, he failed 10,000 times before he invented the light bulb. He never dreamed of giving up and kept struggling until he perfected in his art and excellence. Indeed it is clearly seen that success is not determined by the position you are in but in the fact that how much hard work you have put into it.

It is for sure that life is not a bed of roses and that, there will be innumerable obstacles on the way, but the true worthy of success is that person who has truly made his way through hard work. Those people who are driven towards their goals, enjoy hard work to the fullest and hard works makes them successful people.

There are also numerous other people who made their way only through hard work, like Abraham Lincoln who worked hard even though countless failures paved his way from the age of 21 till the age of 52, he didn't give up and became the president of U.S. Noah Webster is also another significant example who worked hard and after 36 years, his hard work bore the fruit in the form of Webster's Dictionary. It is a competitive advantage which makes one achieve its goal.

Therefore, it is a high time which everyone should realize that hard work is important than smart work and hard work should not be underestimated. Though smart work has its own pros and cons, it can never replace hard work. As quoted by G.K Nielson " Successful people are not gifted; they just work hard, then succeed on purpose"

This game involves ten contestants every day. One sits on the hot seat that reports first in the fastest finger first. You have three lifelines that help you choose a correct answer when you are not sure of the right answer. These helplines are public opinion, fifty-fifty, and phone a friend. You have time only for a minute to reply the answer. If you are not able to respond within the provided time, you lose some of the money that you have won. Also, you helpline will expire in case if it does not respond within a minute when you go for it.

It is a praiseworthy television show. Further, most of the people watch it to explore their knowledge. The anchor of the programme, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, makes it a funny and entertaining show by chatting with the participant and cracking lots of jokes often in between the questions. Besides, winning such a big amount is not an easy task. Therefore, countless people eagerly wait for this show. Hence, it receives immense love from the audience.
