The economic climate has been severely affected by the lockdowns in many countries including India. For several weeks, factories, stores as well as agricultural markets were closed down, supply chains were interfered with and transportations services stopped. While this resembles numerous various other nations, the impact may have been extra pronounced in India. especially in rural areas. Supplies of fuel and medicines were affected by these shutdowns. These supply disruptions led to health problems for millions of people.

Supply chain Disruption:

Food supplies were affected because of lockdown and lack of supply of fuel in rural area. People started dying because of a lack of adequate food and drinking water. There is no doubt that the most crucial supplies for survival were affected. Food supplies were affected in a major way because of the major supply disruptions. This was because there is no running water in many areas. When there is no drinking water, medicine and proper transport system available, the number of deaths will increase.

Shortage of Drinking Water:

Health problems were also experienced because of the shortages of drinking water, medicines and fuel. People were experiencing stomach aches and vomiting from the lack of drinking water. Water causes gastro problems. A drop in temperature can lead to diarrhea and water restrictions led to diarrhoea and dehydration. The most serious part of the supply disruption is the acute shortage of drinking water.

High incidence of Disease:

The shortage of drinking water led to a high incidence of diseases including diarrhoea, dysentery and cholera. There are no reliable sources of fresh water but this does not mean that it has no impact. Consumption of water was restricted, water had to be filtered, water had to be treated. The most significant thing is that it affected people's lives.

Hospital forced to turn away patients:

Icthyologists and hospitals were overwhelmed with patients because of the acute shortage of supply. Hospitals were forced to turn away patients and the patients admitted were admitted with restrictions of movements. The hospital administration faced a dilemma. Do they admit the patients at personal expense or do they turn them away at personal cost and admit them when they can afford it.

Supply of water was very crucial and the supply disruptions were the most critical supply problems facing people. There is a crisis of water also in many countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Uganda, Zambia, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe etc.

Shortage of Safe drinking water has consequences:

The water crisis is now acute in many cities and many cities are reported to have an acute shortage of drinking water. People are facing acute shortages of water and that is what has made it more difficult for them to carry out day to day activities. The acute shortage of water is reported in many towns of Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, and so many other states of India. When the water crisis is severe in a city and people do not have access to drinking water, they start experiencing other critical life threatening shortages of water.

There should be a monitoring of Water crisis area wise:

The shortage of water is reported to be severe in so many states of India and this is what has made it very difficult for people to carry out activities. They start experiencing life threatening illnesses like diarrhoea, cholera, gastro and many more. These are the consequences of the acute shortage of water.

Conclusion:

These are the reasons why it is important that India, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Uganda, Zambia, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Mozambique, and Lesotho, make every effort to provide greater fresh water supply to its population. This will make a difference to all the people, especially the malnourished children. The acute shortage of water and the problem of malnourished children are reported to be severe in so many states of India and this is the reason why it is essential that they should be given increased fresh water supply. This will be successful in giving them a better life. With a greater fresh water supply, it will be possible for these children to be in a better condition and the life of each child should be happier.
