The Times of India

It is right time that drastic steps are to be taken to stop reckless driving of vehicles in the streets of Mumbai. The speed at which vehicles are now driven is a more likely
danger to the pedestrians and public. Only yesterday, I saw a man narrowly escaped from a shocking accident. He was just crossing the road, when a car going at a very high speed suddenly turned to the wrong side of the road and missed knocking him down only by a few inches. Incidents of this kind are of almost daily occurrence. Mumbai police has taken  many good steps to check the  careless driving in  Mumbai, however, There must be more monitoring and regulation regarding rash driving careless driving. More penalties for reckless driving needs to be enforced. I would request the authorities concerned through the columns of your esteemed daily to take drastic steps to put a stop to this nuisance as well as a public danger.

453 words Essay on Winter Vacation for Class 5

Out of many vacations, winter vacations has its own delight and enthusiasm.  Winter season is blessed with very cool weather conditions. This winter vacation forced me to select best vacation destination of India. I told my Papa about my desire. He agreed and he discussed with his friend's 'family vacation ideas'.

After that we ultimately selected best vacation destination as Rajasthan this time. It is because we've visited other vital locations of India but never tasted the magical look of Royal State of Rajasthan. Rajasthan experiences cold climatic condition during winter season similar to other states of India. Blessed with natural beauty and enriched history Rajasthan has been popular destination to attract every third foreign  tourists for it's  palaces, historical forts and  culture.

The palaces of Jaipur, lakes of Udaipur, and desert forts of Jodhpur, Bikaner & Jaisalmer are among the most preferred destination of many tourists.

Mehrangarh Fort (Click to see the images of Mehrangarh fort)  in Jodhpur usually regarded as the best fort in Rajasthan, is a must watch fort .

We made Jodhpur as centre to cover Udaipur, Jaipur, and Jaisalmer. We decided it from very beginning with the help of Google map

In Jaipur we visited Jaswant Thada , Umaid Bhawan Palace, and the gardens at the older capital of Mandore. We also went to the village safari  saw the desert life. One day is sufficient to complete the Jodhpur main visiting spots.

Then we went to Jaisalmer by MDR 32 and NH 15 by road. It took four and half hour to reach to Jaisalmer (285 km). TheInteresting visiting spots are Kuldhara Abandoned Village, Bada Bagh, Jaisalmer Fort, Khaba Fort, Patwon-ki-Haveli , Salim Singh-ki Haveli.   It takes usually 2 nights and 3 days for jaisalmer to cover all spots. After that we came back to Jodhpur and took a night rest at Jodhpur.

After that we went to Jaipur. The main attractions of Jaipur were Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar Jai Mahal and Nahargarh Fort. There are also more to see, but due to shortage of time we couldn't complete rest. We completed these spots in one night two days.

Finally we returned back to Jodhpur and on the same day we went to Udaipur (254 km by NH 65). In Udaipur we visited City Palace, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake and Jag Mandir. Fateh Sagar Lake attracted me much. If you can spare three days and two night for Udaipur then it can be covered fully.

We returned to Jodhpur and came back to Durgapur. Overall  conclusion is that this winter vacation was the best winter vacations we ever enjoyed in past. The Rajasthan tour spots are really very interesting to see.

Off-peak pricing, of the vacation packages make it very tempting to go for an outing after the school break. It is compulsory to take the students from out of  box. Their formal education process makes them dull and confined. An outing during vacation time make them to realise the physical touch of life and provide an opportunity to learn by watching  thing out of paper. This enhance their imagination and also boost their power of coordinating the physical realisation with the paper reading and theories. Winter vacation is a short holiday for a jaunt. Confining Children within books only, is detrimental for their proper mental ability. In the course of vacation preparation they learn to account everything from micro to macro need of life. Their learning is all inclusive from vacation ideas, travelling's pros and cones and their obession of knowing more the facts and reality of tangible world.

By +Azra Ahmad  : flower photo image pictureLotus, Jasmine and Rose flowers have highest cultural presence in our society. Flowers are close to our heart for its delicate bloom, appearance, aroma and its beauty.  In our childhood whenever we start drawing then flowers mentally coerce us by its natural beauty to sketch it first. Three most important things close to human heart are song, child and flower. Flower is the garland of groom, bed decor of the newly married couple, honor of the leader's success, blessing indication of God , best substitute of worshiping need and many more.
Sometimes luck is wished with flower. Hindus offer flowers to Gods as a symbol of devotion and love . Lotus flower has highest value in the Hinduism. Essay on School Bag for Class 5 Problems and issues

school bag photo image picture
Watching our children  back to school with overloaded school bags leaning towards front side is very disgusting and pathetic. School bag remains overloaded on each school day. Despite class routine, few teachers do not maintain standard practice of school routine. One disease has been spread throughout all the English medium school in India of recommending  book list of extra and unnecessary books. These books unnecessarily add extra unwanted load on the spine of student's backpack. Despite few teachers being inconsistent of not maintaining class routine, they often punish students if they fail to bring even a note book.
Overloaded Schoolbag has become a big issue for today education system in lndia. Despite school routine the English medium education  is heading towards wrong and confused path. You should be thinking right now that  I am a mad, no! Not at all. Actually school management and teachers are mixing two right decisions in wrong direction thereby unbalancing the goal of  children's future. Children should not carry a bag which weighs  more than 15 % of their weight (as per report of spine - health. Com) . That means if the weight of a child is 100 kilo gram then he can safely carry 15 kilo gram weight. If their back are loaded beyond this normalcy then there might be a problem in their spine. This is as per instruction of doctors. Sometime it has been noticed generally a child of 20 kilo gram weight is carrying a bag of 10 kilo gram; which is just 50 % of his body weight. He is doing wrong job for right goal   to  become an intelligent unhealthy nation wheel.
No any school may certify itself of maintaining its school routine in proper way because in my opinion each and every child is carrying an overloaded bag nowadays.
Bag sellers are one step more advanced than school book list. They are selling school bag of different brand name for luring students to buy a good bag viz.
teenage school bags, school bags for girl, stylish school bags, best deal for school bag price etc. Every body of our society is busy in maintaining and enhancing their business and monetary gain is the soul fundamental. Everything is happening in scientific way.
I recommend to everyone to by a school bag which keep balance of the back of the children. You can watch photograph of varieties of school bags here.
old school bag photo image pictureHere i am sharing one real story. I think in eighty decade, school of Utter Pradesh state in India was in different look. Children used to sit below tree shed on sack. Square size cloth was used to carry books and it was in vogue at those time.  one of our step elder brother of our family was always carrying overloaded bag. It used to take half an hour to bind this type of without stitched cloth (used as books bag).  It's prepared shape looked like a temple in which bigger dimensional books or note books were kept at bottom. The step brother of our family always used to carry maximum books . This overloaded backpack's weight was much beyond his normal carrying potential. When he grown up, it had been noticed that impact of that overloaded bag deformed his normal back posture. His spine had gotten deformed and his body had become completely inefficient to do job of normal person. He is still suffering from this problem.

I therefore advise guardian to rethink about this and if necessary unite with other parents and resist against school management to make structural and meaningful change in the school's bad practices to lighten the children's burden.
