Essay on World's National Park to protect Species of Wildlife

A national park is a park in use for conservation purposes, created and protected by national governments.

Why Natinal Parks were established:

The world's national parks were established to conserve biodiversity, protect wildlife and improve the environment, provide a sanctuary for animals that can't survive in the wild and to inspire generations to come. To date, there are 551 national parks in use.

Example : Aral Sea National Park

Essay on World's National Park to protect Species of Wildlife

To achieve these goals, each national park is designed in accordance to its environment and the purpose for which it was created. An example of such a design is Aral Sea National Park which is located in the Azerbaijani region of Uzbekistan. The Aral Sea was polluted with industrial waste by a factory which employed mainly Uzbeks. The sea suffered a drastic decrease in its biodiversity and an increase in pollutants which seriously affected the normal functioning of the otters, otter breeding, otter hunting, otter habitat and otter reintroduction. The Aral Sea project successfully stopped the deterioration of the environmental conditions.

The project was implemented by the Uzbek government and international conservation organizations. It focused on the establishment of a nature sanctuary for the otters.

UNESCO in the 1980s First Acknowledged The Importance of Otters:

UNESCO in the 1980s was the first to acknowledge the importance of otters for the protection of the environment. To achieve this goal, the international conservation organizations involved in the project were the World Wildlife Fund, the World Conservation Society, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the Center for International Forestry Research, the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. The Fund for the Republic of Tatarstan. This project protected otters, provided otter breeding and reintroduction, prevented the further deterioration of the sea's ecological and biological characteristics.

Wildlife Fund:

These projects clearly showed the benefits of the national parks and other protected areas for the improvement of the environment. The project protected otters, provided otter breeding and reintroduction, prevented the further deterioration of the environment. It stimulated eco-tourism. The implementation of the projects clearly showed the benefits of the protected areas and national parks for the conservation of wildlife. And the World Wildlife Fund in 1990s was the first to recognize the importance of otters for the protection of the environment. To achieve this goal, the World Wildlife Fund organized the very first World Wildlife Conference in Washington D.C. in 1972.

Wildlife Fund conference

"The success of this conference was an important step in securing the protection of wildlife. As a result of the World Wildlife Fund conference, the protection of wildlife became part of the agenda of many governments and wildlife organizations around the world. The projects protected otters, provided otter breeding and reintroduction, prevented the further deterioration of the environment and stimulated eco-tourism. All of these activities brought positive changes to the environment. To achieve this goal, the World Wildlife Fund organized the very first World Wildlife Conference in Washington D.C. in 1972.

Commercialization of Wildlife:

However, even today, protecting endangered species of wildlife remains a formidable task. The World Wildlife Fund's efforts to achieve their goal of the creation of legally binding targets and standards for the protection of wildlife is being hindered by opposition from the commercialization of wildlife. Even though the World Wildlife Fund initiated many projects to protect and reintroduce endangered wildlife, it was stopped due to pressure from the commercialization. The creation of targets and standards to prevent and control the commercialization of wildlife is one of the most important campaigns the World Wildlife Fund has been involved in. To achieve this goal, they organized the "WRI (World Wide Invasive Species Coalition)" to organize the campaign, the first global campaign to prevent the "importation of non-native species into regions where they do not naturally occur."

However, even now, the protection of endangered species of wildlife is being hampered by opposition by the commercialization of wildlife.

The creation of targets and standards to prevent the "importation of non-native species into regions where they do not naturally occur."

Broader Sense

In a broader sense, the creation of targets and standards to prevent the "importation of non-native species into regions where they do not naturally occur,". It will also prevent the invasive species from affecting and interfering with the ecosystem of the region. In the near future, it will be possible to guarantee the biological diversity of the environment to ensure the ecological balance. These standards will be effective not only in the United States, but worldwide.

International non-native species law is still under development and so far, no standards are in place. The World Wildlife Fund wants to be ready with the next generation of enforcement agents so that standards will be in place worldwide.

Essay on A Visit to a Zoo For Class 5

A zoo is probably a place where people visit hardly once or twice over their entire life.

But these one or two visits turn out to be the most experiential visits of life. Thankfully, I got the chance to visit a zoo at my teenage that too with my friends. Life seems beautiful when your friends are around. We were planning our visit for many days and finally one day it happened. We chose ‘Pragati Maidan’ Zoo, Delhi. We reached there at 10:00 AM, collected tickets from the ticket counter and then directly headed over to explore the zoo. Walking through the narrow lanes between the impenetrable trees, listing the pleasant chirping of birds, and witnessing the real animals was indeed a completely different experience. It seemed we have entered in a different world where there is no hub-bub and chaos of cities. I felt the tranquility of nature and love of animals there.

Essay on A Visit to a Zoo For Class 5

Before this visit, I had seen giant animals and big birds only in the pictures but in zoo, I witnessed almost every animal in front of my eyes. I can’t express this experience in words. It was really thrilling and amazing. I think animals are kept in a categorized way in a zoo. First, we went in the bird’s enclosure. There were many types of birds. Except for one or two categories, I was witnessing the all other types of birds for the time. Then, we approached to the rodent’s cage but didn’t spend much time here. We were curious to see the big animal, so we quickly headed over to the animal’s fence. In the midway itself, we heard a thunderous roar of a lion. Literally, we froze at our place for a moment then we remembered that lion is inside the cage. Ahh, we took a deep breath. Now, we were in front of the dangerous yet beautiful giant animals. We saw deer, lion, tiger, bear, wild bear, rhino, and many more. We enjoyed watching them. Their every single move scared us to the death every time. We were scared from inside but thrilled from outside. After this visit, I must one thing that animals know the definition of brotherhood better than humans. You will see there the genuine love.

Their natural habitat is Asia and they are mostly found in grasslands and rain forests. During 20th century 100,000 tigers were alive worldwide but according to the statistics, in 2014, 3,200 tigers remain in the world, which implies that the live rate of tigers has dropped by 97 percent. Tigers are often killed for sport and folk remedies which are the reasons for the downfall of the big cats. The stripes on the tiger's body act like a camouflage and help them escape from human attacks.

Essay on Tiger for Class 2

The different species of tiger includes Bengal tiger, Siberian tiger, South China tiger, Javan tiger, Sumatran tiger, Malayan tiger, Caspian tiger, Indochinese tiger, Bali tiger. The tiger hybrids are Linger which results from the mating of a male lion and a tigress and Tigon is a result from the mating of a male tiger and a lioness. The tiger colours include a golden tiger and white tiger. The white tiger is formed because of the allele called chinchilla albinistic. The colour of the golden tiger is sometimes called 'golden tabby' and a young tiger is called a cub.

385 Words | Wild Animal Essay For Class 6

An animal living or growing in natural environment i.e. in undomesticated atmosphere is called a wild animal. These animals are uncontrolled and unrestrained. Their way of behaving their exposure in wildly manner which they have got very natural from birth. These animals sometime behave in very angry way and sometimes in soft manner. It is very unpredicted how a wild animal will behave until one study the whole environment of that animal. The wild animals are tiger, lion, leopard, beer, elephants, monkey, rhinoceroses etc.

Since early times animals have been hunted in large numbers. Elephants were killed for their tusks, Which yield ivory. Similarly Deer for their skin Rhinos for their horns Ostrich for their feathers and Lion for their skin. In order to protect the depleting wild animals the governments of many countries have enacted laws to prevent illegal hunting. In this connection many wild life sanctuaries and national parks have been set up in many countries. These parks have protected by forest areas to protect these vanishing animals.
I am mentioning few examples of sanctuaries and national parks  of Africa and India- Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya, Ruaha National park in Tanzania, Zambezi national park in Zimbabwe, St. Lucia Wetland park in South Africa, Etosha National park in Namibia,  Corbett National park in Uttaranchal , Hazaribagh National park in Bihar India.

India made a legislation of Wild Life Protection Act in 1972. Fefore this there were only five national parks in India . This law gave legal protection to the wildlife by making schedule of the laws for plant and animal species. These laws are effective to the whole states of India except Jammu and Kashmir, because this state has its own wildlife protecting laws.

The Wildlife Protection Society Of India (WPSI) was founded in 1994 by Belinda Wright. From its inception, WPSI's main aim has been to bring a new focus to tackle India's growing wildlife crisis. It provides support and information to government authorities to combat poaching and the escalating illegal wildlife trade.

Now our duty is to support the wildlife protection laws and we must communicate about the legals rights of the wild animal so that nobody could violate the laws of wildlife protection. It is because many of us don't know what are not allowed against the wildlife.
