 Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of independent India. He was born at Allahabad on 14th November, 1889. The Nehru family came from Kashmir and then permanent settled in Allahabad. His father's name was  Motilal Nehru; who was a great and prominent lawyer and a national leader. He is said to be the architect of modern India. Jawaharlal received his education in England and became a barrister. But he did not practise law. Subhas chandra bose photogrph image picture Netaji Subhas chandra Bose was a great national patriot and was one of the most prominent Indian Nationalist leader . He was born at Cuttack on 1897. His father's name was Janakinath Bose and mother's name was Prabhabati Devi. He passed both the Matriculation Examination and the ICS. Examination with great credit. Subhas Chandra's only dream to get back mother  land from foreign rule by force. So, he joined India's  British Government. Very soon Subhas Chandra became a great leader. He was elected president of the Indian National Congress twice. He has been ousted from Indian National Congress in 1939. After all  he left the party and formed the Forward Bloc. It happened because of the difference of freedom fighting style with congress conservative style of struggling for freedom.  The British Government arrested him many times. Once he was kept interned in his own house in Calcutta. But Subhas Chandra escaped one night in 1941 AD and left India in disguise. In Singapore, he formed the LNA with the help of Japan and Germany. The army called him Netaji. It attacked India under his leadership but unfortunately failed. It is said Netaji died in a plane crash. But many Indians strongly believe that he is still alive. Dead or not, his burning patriotism will ever continue to inspire the nation.

Politics has always been low on ethical ground, but Mahatma Gandhi the greatest political leader of India raised ethics of politics religiously at greater height. Full name of 'Mahatma Gandhi' was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Mahatma Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869 at Porbandar in Gujrat (India) in a Bania cast. Gandhi's father's name was Karamchand Gandhi. His mother's name was Putlibai. His wife's name was Kasturba (also written as Kasturbai).

Mahatma Gandhi was very honest and truthful from his very boyhood. He was strong opponent of communalism. He went to England to become a barrister. He completed his law in England and came back to India in 1893 Gandhi then went to South Africa.

There he applied the techniques of non-violence and civil disobedience to get the civil rights of Muslim and Hindu Indians in South Africa. Here he began his political career by way of protest against the British rulers. He applied the new technique of Satyagraha and became successful. He then came back to India and led the freedom movement against the British Government Gandhiji started Satyagraha, Non-cooperation and Civil Disobedience Movements and became very successful.

The patriotic Indians stood behind him and India ultimately won her freedom on August 15, 1947 However, Gandhi was not only a great political leader but also a great man. He led a saintly life and was against all sorts of injustice and inequality in the society.

He wanted to establish a Ram Rajya in which all men would live in peace and happiness. For his great contribution to the country, the Indians respectfully call him the Father of the Nation.He was assassinated on 30 January 1948 by Nathuram Godse who thought Gandhi was too sympathetic to India's Muslims. 30 January is observed as Martyrs' Day in India.

It is celebrated in the month of October or November every year. It mark the return of Lord Rama to his kingdom after an exile of fourteen years. The victory of Rama is a victory of the forces of good over the forces of evil. People light up their house on the night of Diwali. Earthen lamps known as  ''Diyas'' burn throughout the night. Candles are lighted and arrayed on the front walls and projected places.People keep electric lights on throughout the light. Cities,towns and villages look like shining comets. The city of Amritsar in Punjab is beautifully decorated. People from different parts of the word come to see the Diwali of Amritsar .Sweets are distributed among friends and relatives on this day. Men and women put on colorful clothes on the day of Diwali. They greet on another and wish each other the blessings of Diwali.Children let off crackers the noise of which continues till late into the night. People keep their houses neat and clean. Some orthodox people believe that Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, visits a clean and well-lit houses on the night of Diwali. Many people gamble on the night of Diwali. Money changes hands and brings run to certain families.The children are very happy for this day they sang a many songs. they eats very sweets. The festival of   Diwali leaves a long sweet echo behind.

Introduction:
A rainy day is a great experience of many of us. Different person or student enjoy the rainy day with different style. Some student become full of joy if heavy rain occurs early in the morning. They take its interest by sitting at their window. It is also because there is a bonus that they get one interesting extra holiday.
Inner Realisation:
Actually the rainy day is very important day of having delicious dishes like Biriyani, Pakoda ets. And the weather of clean atmosphere and clear sky gives me great inner feeling. The interest of cool rainy day can only be perceived. It can not be explained for bringing all inner realization of the rainy day on paper.
Exemplary Explanation:
Such a funny day came on Friday last. The sky remained overcast with dark cloud since the morning. Then around 10 o’clock, it began to rain and it rained very heavily with thunder and lightning. I had to give up the hope of going to school.

The heavy rain went on for hours together . the roads and streets in our area went under knee deep water. The local parks turned into pools of water. Buses cars and other vehicles stopped plying. Only one two double-deckers were seen moving slowly, splashing water. Pedestrians were wading ,through the water .

The normal life of the city was disrupted. However, there was slight slight improvement in the weather towards the evening. Children were then found floating paper boats and playing in the parks.

Conclusion:
It was really a funny day for me . I enjoyed the day listening to songs, seeing the sights of rain outside and of course , taking delicious dishes.
