When cleanliness word comes in our mind, our mind reminds the words like 'cleaning', 'cleaning services', 'clean house', 'maid' and most important 'health'. First we know the meaning of cleanliness. Cleanliness is the habit of keeping free of superficial imperfections.

Our Locality: Cleanliness is our social, important responsibility just like other social duties. Keeping our house clean is not the only requirement. We should think broadly for keeping our houses, neighbour areas, schools , foot-path, our body, our daily usable things etc. free of dirt and imperfections. Generally many have been noticed throwing  out dirt of their houses. We should keep clean our neighbour by assuring happiness of our neighbours by using local Dustbins. This will keep the area free of bacterial infections. The municipal persons should be contacted for regular evacuation of the Dustbin. Our personal cleanliness is very important and  the most compulsory part of ours to protect us from diseases like  malaria, Cholera, diarrhea, typhoid fever etc.

Personal cleanliness: We must wash our hand, mouth and face before eating anything. It is the most required activity we generally miss. We must use cleaning agent like Bleaching powder etc at regular interval. Whenever we take out our shoes , we must clean our leg with soap with a little massage. This is very important ; which maximum of us avoid. It is like that the foundation of the house  ignored on which whole erection is standing. Cleaning leg has very positive impact on our body balance , because it provides relaxation to our mind. We must clean vegetables before cooking it. Very simple for doing it is just keep the vegetable half an hour in water to wash out all pesticides from its outer surface. We must cut our nails regularly. We should also clean nose, ear, hair root to keep us clean, tidy and fit. We should not touch our mouth and face frequently at public places. We must not go to our bed with school dress or with outer dresses to keep us and our house free from germs. Tooth cleaning is a must for everybody at night. Tooth brush is not sufficient.

Preventive cleanliness: We must be accountable and aware for our daily activities. We should avoid using polythene. We should teach  mass by setting examples and not by only lectures. We should not spit here and there and also must not throw garbage or anything on the road also. We should use banners where possible and try to contribute whatever possibilities lie in our reach. We must avoid or try to keep pollution and pollutant at minimum level. 

Cleaning Equipments: If money is not a problem then cleaning equipments available today can save time and do much better job for maintaining cleanliness. Introduction: Boating means floating on water with the help of boat for recreation or for sport in water. Here I am explaining two boating experiences at two different places. First of all it is more important to know few history of boat.

Boat has given new concept of connectivity from one land part to another. If we search its history then we will come to know that boat is being used from ancient time. The archaeological survey reveals that the boats were used before 7000 to 10000 years ago (wikipedia). The ancient boats were Log boats usually cut from trunk of a tree. Boats were used for commercial purpose between Indus Valley civilization and Mesopotamia. Columbus, Vasko da Gama and Magellan have given important discoveries with boat. There are three types of boats e.g. Unpowered or Human powered boat, sailboat and motorboat. 

First Boating Experience: Now come to the point. This is one evening I went to a Park fully prepared for boating. The evening was very touching and beauty of joy was ruling visitors. I had no exam pressure that is why I was very much relaxed and in full mood of snatching the ecstasy of boating. I told to my parent about my eagerness for boating. Instantly I got the permission but not allowed alone. We hired a boat and all four family members started boating. It was manual boat; which had propelling force arrangement for two people. I and my younger brother were operating the boat. The gentle air was very nice to feel. During boating we came at the bank and took our coffee. We were in water for half an hour. One safety I noticed that there was live jackets in the boat. I think from safety point of view everybody must know its use. It is because water gives us pleasure and it takes our life very easily. Many accidents had been happened in the past so we must be under rule of safety. That was first very nice experience of boating. But my next ambition is to do riding on motor boat. 

Second Boating Experience: This one is not very enjoying boat journey but it was a fearful experience at Andaman and Nicobar Island. We planned to see the corals at North Bay Island of Andaman. As we stayed at Portblair therefore it was very easy to catch the small motor boat to go to North Bay Island. As this journey was of about 4.4 km in the sea water, therefore it was very adventurous boat journey. Boating in the park in small water catchment area and travelling in sea water was completely different. There were about 20 people in the boat. The entire passengers were of different nature and also have different degree of water fear. One man started crying at the middle of the journey as he was feeling much fear from wave of sea water. But many of us order him to keep quiet and not to make any disturbance. Anyhow we reached at the North Bay and watched various kinds of corals with the help of expert swimmer.  There was various kinds of colored corals. We ate fresh raw coconut. It was very tasty. Also we booked our lunch there. Although the lunch costs us much but it was like a picnic on an Island. It was first time in my life to visit an Island. We returned from North Bay after two hours. During this travel we maintained very much safety.

English is West Germanic language; which was first spoken in early Medieval England. But it is now most spoken and usable language in the world. United Kingdom,  United States, Canada Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and many more countries use and speak it as first language. American English and British English the two major varieties of the language are spoken by about 400 million people. It is one of the leading language of the world. It has got international acceptance, prestige and value. Total worldwide English speakers may exceeds one billion in future. These are few logics out of  many that caused me to choose this language as my favourite subject.

Why English is my Favourite Subject:

English is the basic language of communicating anybody  anywhere in the world. From my school time I have noticed that many of my class-mets usually remain afraid of this language. It was taught as second language in our class. From that time I knew the fact that if it would be our mother tongue then it wouldn't be issue like this. So I thought if I read it daily just like my first language then it will become as easy as my mother tongue. By doing so I became fan of this my dear language. I scored top in the class in this subject. It raised my self believe  and reputation in the class. 

Knowing English is Prestigious: Internet and computing destined English language at the level of  monarchy of all language. You may be politician, player, foreign ministers, a student, an engineer etc but it is utmost compulsory to know English to communicate for an edge advantage and of getting respect and prestige at international level in today's time.  English speaking person attracts attention of mass and is a symbol of highly educated personality . It creates solid first impression at interview , press conference or at any other public place.

Strength of English Language: Strength of English language is in its total number of alphabets; which is only 26. It has only five vowel. With only 26 letters you can do romance with ocean of beautiful words and you can make you feel emo and excited. English language had innovated itself by accepting the words of other languages and country. In this way it won the confidence and faith of other non-English speakers and it made it most popular. In todays time computer, gadgets and mobile have stoned it solidly and pushing it at rocket speed. Top edge technology books are best written in English language in very lucid manners. This has always given a greater impetus to flourish English.

My Story with English Language: I being an electrical engineer love to read new creative articles essays and engineering books. Previously I was reading Indian engineering books that used to have maximum coverage in one package. But when I read few foreign books then I become surprised that many foreign books are like a teacher and I  never felt confused with any chapter. I like English story also it make me feel best and give extra energy.

Essay Introduction

Ah! When I was a child the world seemed to be a place of joy and happiness to me. There was nothing worth worrying about. Whenever I cried somebody picked me up. When I did not like to sit alone, I was always in somebody’s arm. I was not born in a rich family. So my mother always looked-after me. I was not kept under the care of a hired nurse.

My School, My Friends and Teachers:

When I was six years old I was sent to a small but nice school. Soon I made friends with tow or three boys. Even now I clearly remember faces of my school friends and teachers.

When I was young I did not like my school teacher because sometimes he used to beat me. It is good that the system of beating (punishment) is abolished now. We had to go to school early in the morning. In the beginning like most boys, I was unwilling to get up early in the morning and go to school. But as I grow interested in my studies I enjoyed going to school.

My Mischief, Excursion and late coming:

In the afternoon, we played all sorts of games and pranks in the street. I was very mischievous when I was young. When I saw a man passing on the way, sometimes I would pull down his turban and run away. Sometimes when I found a bullock cat waiting on the way and the cartman gone away for a while on business, I would ride the cart and drive the bullocks to some distance and disappear. On his return, the cartman was puzzled when he did not find his cart. But this made us roar with laughter. The cartman would run after us but we would disappear through small lanes.

When I was ten years old, I had gone with some boys to a neighboring village on pool. I did not inform my parents. We could not return till it was very dark. My parents were very anxious. They searched for me everywhere, but I could not be found. At last, when they saw me coming back late at night, my father jumped at me. He held me firmly by my arm. When he was about to beat me, my mother came forward to save me. I was let off with a strong scolding. A father, though gentle is often strict, but a mother is always tender to her children. My mother always saved me from the anger of my father. Thus I liked my mother more than I liked my father.

The Beginning of worries and anxieties:

As I grew in age, worries about my studies and small worldly matters came upon me. By now I have been in a higher secondary school. I would prepare myself for the higher secondary examination. As a young boy of fifteen I was expected to help my father in the work of shopping and in buying vegetables in the morning.

Conclusion:

Childhood is free from cares. There are no duties and responsibilities on the shoulders of a child. A child eats drinks, sleeps and plays. When he eats a piece of bread, he does not think from where it comes. His father alone knows that. Even when someone dies in the family, a child is not touched. As child lives in a bliss of ignorance and innocence. Really as Wordsworth says: “Heaven lies about us in our fancy”. The memory of those good days makes me happy.

(502 Words):Summer is the hot season in India. Summer season falls in May  as per English Calender. According to Hindi calender it falls in Baisakh and Jeyshtha.

I think in these day during summer , we feel very uneasy. The sweat on the body and housefly sitting on our skin and sucking sweat is very much embarrassing particularly in India.  Sun strike our body and put our daily living very tough. I think we must go out and utilise our summer vacation at cooler atmosphere.

Summer season happens due to rotation of the earth round the sun. When northern hemisphere faces sun directly then there comes summer. 

Summer season is the time for rest for farmers. During summer farmers and villagers enjoy the leisure in fullest. All the filled remain vacant and dry. In village area marriages are arranged in summer season from primitive time. Summer season has great advantages for marriage ceremony with respect to other season. No room or hotel required for hospitality of  groom side people (Barati in Hindi ) that means the bride side people have not to take any headache regarding blanket, pillow etc for serving or hosting groom side people. Expenditure on food is very little because people fear of eating overdose whatever delicious food may be. I think it's the greatness of the summer season which saves the financially weak villagers from huge burden of marriage expenditure. The timing of marriage is archaic it is not creative. According to much religious belief in India of making pairs on certain date is compulsory and this date falls generally in Summer. 

There are certain disadvantages of summer season also. Water crisis is one of the major problems where people are completely dependent upon water supply. We noticed in news media every year people are fighting against government person for supplying water in sufficient quantity and in time. Other one major issue is death due to sun stock. As the temperature are increasing year to year due to global warming , therefore Summer season is becoming threat to the general people ; who had no protection power (e.g. Air-conditioner installed in houses) are suffering from sun stock death . As numbers of trees are becoming reduced due to deforestation the dangerous heat of summer are crossing the safe natural limit of temperature. Due to less water in the catchment area of hydro power station, and increased maximum demand of the town, power crisis is another worse condition. 

It is our duty to increase afforestation and to save power, water and energy to combat the global warming. It is because big world meeting and its decision is not in the hand of individual general public. So we must think for our small contribution towards the health of the nature. So that we could try to check the increase death toll due to sun stock. We should think on the fact that small drops can be a part of large ocean and large ocean of world population can make an ocean.
