A Stormy Night with a Ghost Experience Essay

Image
A ghastly experience is a memory which stays in your life forever. It’s a story worth telling and can also be the reason which changed your life and perspective forever. Over centuries, there have been many cults and groups who believe in ghosts and some have also experienced the unfortunate event with their own eyes. Some experiences were terrifying while others were fatal. My experience, on the other hand, was not only terrifying but also unique. It was a usual cold night of autumn when I decided to take a stroll in the dark alley and all that could keep me warm was the puff of smoke from cigars which was inhaled by the smokers in desperation and anxiety. There was something ominous about that night which made my toes tingle. As I walked by, I couldn’t help but contemplate about the legends which were sung in my town, which spoke about the ghost who had a tragic end because he was rumoured to be engaged in witchcraft. It was believed that the ghost would ride on his broomstick…

Competition Destroys the Creativity Essay For Class 12

Image
Creativity is inherent, it is probably the one thing no one can steal from a person. Creativity gives us wings to fly, make our own path, and stand out among billions of people. But today's world is dominated by competition. Ayn Rand, a Russian writer says "A Creative Man is motivated by the Desire to Achieve, not by the desire to beat others". The world is constantly moving towards being better, which only increases competition. While leaving one's comfort zone has become a common form of motivation, more and more people are going through their everyday chores because, in orcoder to survive, they have to be ahead in the competition. This brings me to the topic “Competition kills Creativity”. While I support the notion, there is a fine line between healthy competition and the trouble-making ones. A healthy competition, especially within one's niche, drives a person to be better. However, a competition that is driven by the maddening thoughts of being better t…

On the mid of the ground, there is a big and plush lawn. One can sit there peacefully. I visit my school garden whenever I get free time during the lectures or during the lunch. Taj Mahal is the heart of India. Everybody wants to visit it at least once in his/her lifetime. I too was very curious to get the glimpse of this monument as I have heard a lot about the magnificence of this place. After waiting for years, finally, the day came when I got a chance to visit this place. Actually, it was a group trip from my school. Our school conducts 2-3 days trip every year in January. All the students are divided in a certain number of groups and then, they’re sent to different touristic places with a guide. Our group was decided to go on a trip to Taj Mahal. I was happy and there were two reasons for it. First, I was going Taj Mahal and second, all my friends were in my group only. A day before the trip, we were told about everything like what all stuff we should carry and at what time we had to reach school in order to depart. We were expected to turn up at 7 AM. I was eagerly waiting for the morning at the night but when I woke in the morning, it was already 6:…

The clouds of smokes and the horrible flames were approaching me. Suddenly, I heard a voice coming beside me. It was my neighbor Rahul who came to rescue me after jumping from his roof. He took me in his lap and ran away from there. When I reached in their house, I took a sigh of relief after finding my mother & sister safe. We were taken safely out off the house but our house was burnt almost into ashes before the fire brigade could come. After 2 hours of continue efforts of putting o…

Essay on Importance of Practical Approach Of Education

Image
Education, no doubt, is the threshold of knowledge. Education imparted by schools has given tremendous knowledge to students who have later excelled in their fields. But as ideologies emerge, education has lost its meaning over the years. The main reason goes to the corruption of the system which has a disjuncture in the overall outlook. Students over the years have lost interest in studies because the focus is given more on theoretical aspect rather than the practical approach. Over the years, keeping in mind the changes in the student’s approach towards studies, a lot of methodologies in imparting education have been introduced where attending classes have become a matter of option. The relevant reasons which support this thought are that:
1. Sitting in the classroom, listening to long lectures will be of no use because there is no practical approach to whatever is being taught. 2. Rather than the school concentrating on the attendance of high school students, they shou…

Composition On Don't Grumble. Make the Best Use of The Things You Have. When Life Throws You Lemons, Make A Lemonade.

Image
It is rightly said that we understand the true value of things only when they are taken away from us. This phrase showcases positivity and optimism in the face of misfortune and adversity.Never wait for the perfect circumstance to achieve your goals. Waiting until the universe conspires in an instant of perfect circumstances to encourage you to work for your goals will only be the way never to reach them. You see, maybe in these moments, you cannot work for your goals the way you would like. You still do not have the money, the training, you have not met the right person yet; you do not have enough maturity; it is not the right time, etc. The point is that this becomes an excuse for procrastination, and never to undertake anything. It's time to act. If all life has given you are lemons, just make do with them the best way you can. Make your best lemonade! This is life - to get the best out of what we have. Instead of lamenting and blaming others for our "misfortunes," it i…

Within the thrones of failure blooms tangible flowers of success. The phrase “where is the will there is the way” hails this truth. Failure is not the end, but a new beginning. Will power or determination is a constant effort of a creature to find a working solution to its problems. To be more precise, it is an effort to seek happiness in times of sorrow, longing for success after an episode of failure or accepting oneself after being dumped. Animals also exhibit will power as they show astonishing feat to get rid of predators and feed them. Optimistic persons have always hoped for a better world and ever growing humanity. Essay on My Favorite Occupation

Image
A life without an aim is like a pilot without training and knowledge. Lack of aim often dupes an individual to a meaningless life. Many people don’t sleep due to the fire burning in them to achieve a goal. For others, their aim becomes the sole reason for their survival. Everyone should have a crystal clear aim to end-up with a fruitful life. The occupation that often anticipates and allures me is that of a doctor- an obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN). I wish to nourish my country by being its servant and ensure the birth of healthy citizens. Since my childhood, I love babies and the adverse palpability of women during pregnancy empathize me. I also possess a strong work ethic i.e. I don’t give up on the job until it’s done with 100% accuracy and precision. These skills make me apt for being a successful doctor. My compassion, humility and confidence add confetti to it. I believe in simple living and high thinking. All that matters to me is to be able to cure people rather than ph…

Essay on Quality Speaks Louder than Voice

Men are what they are because of what they do. Not what they said. If your actions do not prove the truth of your word then your words are nothing than lies. Dreams become regrets when left in the mind, never planted in the soil of action. You can be another Pablo Picasso, a famous Spanish painter; Steve Jobs an American Entrepreneur, Bill Gates, an American business magnate, Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook; Martin Luther King Jr a leader in the civil rights movement; Rafael Nadal, a professional tennis player, Venus Williams, a professional women tennis player, Mahatma Gandhi leader of Indian National Movement, Sachin Tendulkar the greatest batsmen of all time. The list is endless and you may be the next. Yes, you will be the next one.Could you see the common thing in all these people I mentioned? They all produce quality stuff in their fields. Their performances are now the benchmark of quality. They never market themselves. Still, the whole world knows about them. They foc…

Essay on An Evening Spent with Special Children

Come weekend and the entire world seems to drown itself into loudest party mode in the name of unwinding. This, of course, is unthinkable for introverts, which is why going party animal mode has never been my kind weekend celebration. However, this weekend I was surrounded by a roomful of loud, boisterous and frolicking people. The only difference was that it wasn’t any weekend party of grown ups, rather an evening spent with ADHD children. There is often much misinformation regarding special children. Unfortunately, even today, our society often labels all divergent being and behavior under one label – mentally retarded – which cannot be farther from truth. Special children are those who have physical, cognitive or behavioral needs that requires special care. There are majorly unique four types.
Physical – children with muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, etc.
Sensory Impaired – the visually impaired (partially or fully blind), the deaf or children with limited hearing…
